Investigating my e-waste
Consider your own household. Document all your electronic devices, with a plug, battery or power cord. When your electronic devices no longer work and become e-waste, what do you do with them? Where might they go?
Discuss your ideas with others. What are your group ideas?
What is e-waste? Why is it a problem? Why should you care?
How might you represent your understanding and communicate your ideas to others?
How can e-waste be recycled? Create a flow chart to represent your understanding.
What actions can you take to reduce the amount of e-waste? Where can you recycle your e-waste from your household? How does this link to the circular economy? How might you educate others with regards to e waste? Why should they care?
Create a video, poster, drama, role play, Q&A, infographic, creative story, cartoon or similar to communicate your understanding about e-waste, recycling, the circular economy and your message to a target audience.
